Seems like spring hasn't realized it's arrived here in the Pacific Northwest. The past three weeks Mother Nature has given us a light dusting of snow on Sundays and Mondays, strange. The last two days have been filled with rain. Don't get me wrong, I love the rain, just expected something different on the First Day of Spring. Anywho, as I sat here milling about the net, looking at my expired listings on Etsy, I thought, hmmm, rather than to relist the following item I decided to do a giveaway. So many people favored this item from my shop and therefore I figured would be a nice prize. Here I have this...
Lovely White Bone China Owl Figurine
It is approximately 6" tall
and 4" in diameter at the base.
Made in Taiwan so I'm dating it to the 60's or 70's
To enter this giveaway, all one has to do is post a comment telling me which item they favorite from any of the 5 shops listed in my weekly sideline featurette or either of my two etsy shops NeverTooOld or Vintagicity. One entry per person.
This giveaway will begin today March 20, 2012 and end on Saturday March 31, 2012 at midnight EDT. The winner will be announced in a new post on April 1, 2012 (no jokes, really!! lol). This giveaway is open to U.S., Canada, UK, Australia, and New Zealand residents.

My favorite is also the owl! My family has Irish roots and the owl is the symbol of wisdom and patience in celtic traditions- Having my owl collection on display serves not only as decoration (they are so cute!) but also a reminder of what they symbolize!

My twin sister's favorite animal are owls and it makes me think of her, we are currently living 700miles apart so its kinda rough. I Favorited the vintage bone china owl, I adore owls. It's a beautiful piece and would love to add something like that to my collection. He would fit perfectly with my milk glasses.
