THRIFT SHOP TREASURES

My fave way to spend a day is thrift shopping and yard sales.  With the season for yard and garage sales all but over, I tend to frequent the thrift shops.  In my hunt for vintagicity I'd come across a few small items that to me are just awesome as I love the old old goods that have been well preserved and are as nice today as they were then.  Here are a couple examples of such that I recently listed in my Etsy shop.

1930's LIFEBUOY HEALTHSOAP BOXES

ORIGINAL 1930'S BOXES
Very cool graphics and the boxes appear as though they've been stored for the last 70 years

1960's MINI MORTON SALT SHAKERS
THESE LIL DISPENSERS ARE VERY COOL AND MAKE A SUPER DISPLAY

1940'S BOB PINS STORE PACK
CHIC
Love the graphics and only 5 cents!

1960'S BUBBLER CHRISTMAS LIGHTS
Want to add some vintage flair to you holiday decor?
These appear to have never been used and found just as shown here

Just as displayed at the FIVE and DIME stores of yesteryear

These vintage items and more can be found in my Etsy shop and I do hope you'll stop by

nice and cool new listings.. thanks for sharing. I have something here at home but not sure if its vintage or not. We got a dvd player from a friend but its not a like todays dvd players. it takes special cds/movies.. i cant remember what they are called. I will ask Jeff when he comes home and let you know.. I have thought about selling it. but first i need to know what its worth.. Its just sitting here collecting dust and I tripped over it the other night..
That hurt..

Hi Tweety, So nice to hear from ya!! Hope you and yours are well and that you're enjoying a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday!

That player sounds like the old "laser disc" player? There are a following of "disc" collectors and one way to approximate it's value is to google it or check on ebay. Hope that helps and look forward to hearing from you soon!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!
