Hi All,
I've been experiencing a situation whereas I am not able to post comments to some of your blog posts and thought I'd pass along some info that might be effecting some of you. Not everyone is affected by this as some of your blogs are set up in a fashion that allows for posting comments. Some of you may have noticed that you've not received comments in quite some time. I was affected when Blogspot made some recent changes to incorporated new design features. If by chance you have been affected, you may try the following to remedy the situation. You can fix by doing the following:
1. Go into your "Dashboard" and find the "Settings" Tab, click on it.
2. Next find your "comments" tab, click on it.
3. Find your "comment form placement" field.
4. Make sure the "pop up window" option is checked/marked.
5. Scroll down to bottom of page and make sure to select "save settings" which should correct the problem.
When someone visits your blog and wants to leave a comment to your post or posts, it will open a "pop up window" that will allow them to comment effectively.
Most of you have a comment field at the bottom of your posts, however it does not give the option of commenting using your Google ID, Anonymous, or other ID options, nor does it give the "word verification" codes that must be used to enter a comment.
I hope this is not too confusing and that it helps any of you that may be experiencing the same.
Good Luck and Happy Blogging!!
Here you'll find my posts on any given subject on any given day. No rhyme or reason. Some posts may be well thought out and planned, yet some spontaneous. It just depends on how and what I may be feeling like writing on that particular day. Whatever it is, I hope you'll enjoy.

The Rain Is Coming |
She's a beauty all her own
Gray sand shores stretched miles
Treasures from the sea amidst green foam
Morning fog covers her beaches
Combers walk in a misty cloak
Seeking a treasure within arms reach
Hear the faint horn of the fishermens boat
She shares a day or hour
Of windless sunshine
Only to remind she is alive with element
Fog gives way to blackened clouds
That touch the horizon
Downpour of rain soaks her gray sands
The surf intensifies pounding the shoreline
Birds and gulls seek refuge inland
She allows it to last but for a short time
A storm she has sent although be it brief
Has cleansed the coastline
Gives way to the sun and it's warm relief
So do give her time
And she'll show you she can
Change without notice...
But on her demand
Gray sand shores stretched miles
Treasures from the sea amidst green foam
Morning fog covers her beaches
Combers walk in a misty cloak
Seeking a treasure within arms reach
Hear the faint horn of the fishermens boat
She shares a day or hour
Of windless sunshine
Only to remind she is alive with element
Fog gives way to blackened clouds
That touch the horizon
Downpour of rain soaks her gray sands
The surf intensifies pounding the shoreline
Birds and gulls seek refuge inland
She allows it to last but for a short time
A storm she has sent although be it brief
Has cleansed the coastline
Gives way to the sun and it's warm relief
So do give her time
And she'll show you she can
Change without notice...
But on her demand

After the storm passed the sky was graced with weeping clouds like the one below.
It was truly beautiful to see and enjoy.
The morning suns light sabers pierce through the woods
Playing in the surf

Well Wishes To All
Hi everyone!! Just a quick note to say that I hope you've all had a wonderful summer and although not quite over yet we are approaching the fall season, back to school, some alone time for some of us, wow, that I look soooo forward to. I'm preparing to step away from Etsy, blogging, and the PC for a break I will be closing my Etsy shop temporarily and have reduced the prices on most items, so have a look should you get the opportunity. I hope to revamp and add more vintagicity to the shop when I return.
If you hadn't noticed I added a couple new featurettes to my blog which are to the right. First is my Etsy shop of the week in which I will post one of my Etsy friends shop each week. Second, is my "Have you hugged someone today" which is just a lil jesture of my fond appreciation for a number of Etsy friends and is linked to their shops and changes daily. I dig all my Etsy friends and just wanted to show some support to as many as I possible and hope you enjoy popping in to view from time to time. I hope to include each and every one of you!

Forest Knights
A forest ascends to the sky
Giants who've stood times test
Earths guardians ever so high
Noble knights which consign to no rest
Hundreds of years in just one
These watchmen of nature do hold
Tales be heard by none
Not that of the young or the old
To stand by one is no measure
Dwarfed aside this mammoth icon
This one of earths ancient treasures
Shall remain in this forest to grow on
I leave with awe in my veins
These Cedars a sight to behold
Are left in the forest to reign
As been done for centuries before.

"To sit in solitude, to think in solitude with only the music of the stream and the cedar to break the flow of silence, there lies the value of wilderness."

Jersey Holds This Friend Of Mine
My poem is written, designed to show
A friend of mine who can't ignore
Our visits be them short or long
Seem Always take a turn of wrong.
I leave with blank thought in my head
Yet as I go, your typed chat says
What makes me stop to think and wonder
Your sarcastic words wont keep me under.
Then again as that was said
Another comment strikes me dead
Yet not that I have died from that
But once again you revive my chat.
I smile, laugh, and say in joke
That you've an attitude unprovoked
My patience that of which you test
Is often done with poke or jest.
Is this how you incite a rise?
You'll find you've met your demise
No, I am not as weak in heart
As you may think or can outsmart.
For I have been around a while
So take this time in which to smile
To wait and listen, but not resign...
Jersey holds this friend of mine.
